In one fell swoop she has lost those outside her immediate family who know her best and would understand the questions and doubts she is facing after Wayne calls off the wedding and tells her to move on. Can love win out over self dependence? Will Wayne realize that accepting help and support from his fiancée allows her to show her love for him rather than that letting her go is the only reasonable way to deal with his changed circumstance?
