Change and Cherish Series by Jane Kirkpatrick and a Giveaway

One of my favorite historical authors, Jane Kirkpatrick, and a fellow Oregonian released her third book in another wonderful series this month. Her Change and Cherish series follows the life of a German communal group who migrates from Bethel, Missouri to what was then called Oregon Territory and at the time encompassed much of the states of Oregon and Washington. We primarily get the story from the perspective of Emma Wagner Giesy who is a fiesty young woman raised in this commune. As always Jane has woven a thread of faith and growth into the stories of the people she brings to life for the reader.

I love her wonderful descriptions of the landscape, people and their experiences throughout the writings I've read and this series is no exception. Read my review of Book 1, A Clearing in the Wild. I will also post reviews of the other two books soon.
